Digital Elevation Model Data (DEMs)

A digital elevation model in TIFF format is available for the colored parts of each rectangular area shown on the map below. Click on a rectangle to download the data for that area. Most of the files are between 3 and 6 megabytes in size. All of the data are in Montana State Plane Coordinates, NAD83, units meters. You may also download all the files at once, at a file size of about 50 megabytes.

The sample distance between DEM points is 2.5 meters. These data was derived from LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data collected with an ALS40 sensor.
