Getting Started with SVG Mapping Applications

This application requires the following:*

• Windows 98, 2000 or XP
• Internet Explorer 5.5 +
• Adobe SVG Viewer v.3 or higher

Most people will find that they need to install the SVG viewer. The version that comes bundled with Adobe Acrobat will not work. You can download the viewer either from our site or from Adobe.

Note: The SVG viewer requires administrator privileges to install. For most users, this will not be a problem, but it may require you to either log in as administrator or have your system admin do the install. This is an issue we hope to have resolved with the upcoming release of SVG Viewer v.4.

Also, sometimes during the installation, a couple of error messages pop up. These have no impact on the installation or any other aspect of your computer.

Once the plug-in is installed, go to the page you are trying to view. If it is already open, reload it. A license agreement will pop up that you have to accept to use the plug-in.

* Future versions will hopefully be compatible with other platforms, browsers and SVG viewers.
